Policies
- No jewelry is to be worn in class.
- Hair must be secured back away from the face.
- Warm-up is a vital part of preparing the body to dance.
- Students should arrive on time to take part in warm-up.
Attire
Ballet
Girls – Black body suit, pink or beige tights (preferably pink). Princess Ballerinas may wear pink body suit with ballet skirt. Pink ballet slippers.
Boys – Black or white form fitting tank or t-shirt, and black flexible shorts or pants. Black ballet slippers.
Jazz
Clothing must stretch and be form fitting. Bodysuit/tights/leotard/jazz pants etc are the most common items worn. Jazz shoes (preferably black).
Mini Movers and Tiny Dancers may wear gymnastics slippers (preferably black).
Tap
Clothing must stretch and be form fitting. Bodysuit/tights/leotard/jazz pants etc are the most common items worn. Jazz shoes (preferably black).
“Broadway Babies” and “Tap Kids” may wear any style tap shoe (paten leather tap shoe usually most affordable).
Jr/Int/Sr tappers should wear Mary Jane style tap shoes (preferably black).

Acro & Tumbling
Attire must stretch and be form fitting, preferably body suit and footless tights. Absolutely no skirts allowed. Bare feet, little ones may wear gymnastics slippers.
Hip Hop
Comfortable clothing (no jeans) and INDOOR sneakers.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Same attire as jazz. Foot undies.
